Replacing a Remmy 721 rifle barrel ...
OK, great Hivemind:
Is there a company that makes a replacement barrel for the 721? The 721 has the step that the rear sight dovetail is cut into ..... and has irons. Any body make these? |

Seriously, I can't be the only guy since 2008 to have shot my 721 to death.

The only 721 I have re barreled was replaced with a 700 barrel. The relief in the stock for the swelling around the rear sight dovetail was not all that noticeable with the 700 barrel in it.

this is list from Lilja and they match the 721 barrel
http://www.riflebarrels.com/products...centerfire.htm You can call Dan not sure he do the dovetail but gunsmith can do that and sights. You could send them the barrel and I think they charge $40/$50 or so and they match that barrel also.
