Cynergy composite user opinions

I'm really tempted to buy a Cynergy composite stock model now that Browning is offering a $100 rebate. Anyone use this gun or similar Cynergy models? I'd be interested in hearing opinions. The gun seems to really handle nicely in the store although I haven't been able to shoot one. It seems very well balanced for a 12 ga double barrel. My intended uses would be the clay targets and an pheasant hunting.

Do yourself a favor,and pay the $100 extra and get real wood.The reason it's $100 off is they can't get rid of it!Cynergys are nice "O/U" 's and would look @#%(*(&y in composite.Gives me shivers just to picture it.Yuck!Somebody stab a stick in my minds' eye!

I'm gunna go ahead and agree, the composite stock shape and texture is just plain ugly. Go for the wood. Cynergies are good guns, they're more hunting geared than the Citori line IMHO, the citori wieght is kinda what helps. I've never seen one break if that helps at all.

I agree, it's not the prettiest gun, but it looks a whole lot better than the Benelli Vinci or SBE in my opinion. They are offering the $100 rebate on all Cynergy models, I don't think that means they can't unload any of them. The composite stocks offer so many advantages over wood, but I can't really get past the draw to traditional wood and blued steel either. When practicality, durability and other factors are considered, the composite stocks make sense. Why would Benelli be such huge sellers if the plastic stocks were really the issue?

Not so much just plastic stocks, but the ergos, shape and lines of the cynergy stock are unattractive. It should do well for pheasant and a decient amount of clays, but I think the wood is the way to go in the cynergy.
