Blue dot, I don’t really know. The range officer confiscated all his equipment (gun in 40 pieces and ammo). His was a mistake of wrong powder, not trying to use a pistol powder in 223. He was band from competition for the remainder of the summer.
Later that year he blew up a revolver and he’s no longer allowed on the on the range.

The dude's 2 for 2 ... maybe he'll try 3 for 3, but he's gonna' run out of lives after he hits #9 ... meow!

On the no neck 30, I've heard about guys mixing up 30-06 Garands with the 7.62 X 51 Navy versions ... and you can always tell. They also had a problem with the early Navy versions done with a chamber insert ... if it managed to come out with a fired case, you'ld see some pretty wierd looking brass on subsequent shots.

I have one of each and NEVER take both to the range at the same time ... just in case I get stupid!
