Best Iron Sights for Rem 308

I live in Colorado and own a Remington Mili Spec 308. I plan to use it in an upcoming local competition with neighbors. Rules are no scopes, no peeps. 100 yard distance with elk caliber rifles. My eyes are not what they once were. I am in need of the best iron sights for this situation and I want to easily adjust the rear sight for elevation and windage. Thanks, [email protected]

If you have to use a blade style rear sight both Williams and TruGlo market patridge style blades with light gathering fiber optic inserts.

Williams calls them "Firesight." http://www.williamsgunsight.com/gunsights/image_r.htm

You'll need to be handy with tools to install yourself, as your 5R milspec doesn't have the mounting points on the barrel for open sights. I'd recommend paying a gunsmith.
