J Stevens 94A single barrel question
How do you disassemble the gun? I removed the forearm (1 screw) but it's not obvious how to seperate the barrel from the stock. Both my doubles are very simple - just remove forearm + open action.
Anyone know how do do this? |

AFAIK, it has exactly the same action as my 219B rifle, but with an exposed hammer - and breaks down just as you mentioned a double SxS shotgun does.
After the forend's off, when you break the action open as if to load, unhook the barrel from the receiver by pushing it a little towards the rear as you pivot it up/out, and it should come right apart. . |
