Mossberg 930 HS Ghost Ring Sites?
I just purchased a Mossberg 930 HS and would like to add Ghost Ring sites to it at a reasonable price. After searching the mfg. site, I have found nothing.
Any suggestions? Will sites for any of the other Mossberg models work. I would be happy to have a gunsmith attach them. Thanks in advance for your help. |

Well, there is good news and bad news!
The good news, LPA (a very good sight maker) supplies the ghost ring sights for the Mossberg 930 model SPX. Here is the web sight for them http://www.lpasights.com/catalog-shotgun.html. Basically you are looking for a BAR11RD4 model and a Picatinny Rail, Security-Matte Finish for the rear. A SG-4 (I have not used this sight) or a SG-6 (epoxied or soldered) on the barrel. The Bad news, your receiver should be already drilled and taped for the rail, if not this is a MINOR task, however the barrel WILL need to be professionally adapted for the new front sight . You bought a 930 Home Security (bare bones) model, it saved you about $250 over the 930 SPX model, expect that your change over will be about that difference or a bit more. Good Luck with your project! and be safe

Impossible to find
Hi all-
'Newbie here... I am in desperate search of the Mossberg 930 SPX 12 gauge and I CANNOT come across one. Once upon a time, I found one with the pistol grip, which I am not interested in-probably should have knabbed it anyway and just replaced it. Can someone please direct me to where I can find one? If anyone knows. I greatly appreciate it and look forward to posting with you guys... -Skohrs |

Thanks Smitty!
I appreciate it! I'm going to try to head down to the one in West Palm and see what I can find. Coincidentally, I know a Smitty in CT... |
