Has Rem oil changed?

I was going through an old box yesterday, and I came across a little dropper bottle of Rem oil that I had bought about three years ago. I set it in my cleaning cabinet next to a bottle that I bought last week, and noticed that it was a different color. The older bottle was a darker yellow than the new stuff. The new bottle was almost the same color as 3-in-1 oil. Does anyone know if the formula for Rem oil has changed in the past few years?

I bet that it just got darker with age, and/or that there are slight tolerances in the formulation.
