new auction purchase

just got myself a marlin 20 A at the auction wednesday. good shape and took it out today and fires nicely....had to take it apart and give it a good cleaning and take a burr out of the barrel where the 22 feeds into it....now looking to find a butt plate. but all in all very happy for 200.

They're nice little hammer pumpguns from around WWI - I have a later hammerless Model 38 from the late 1920's.

Bob's Gun Parts lists several vintage Marlin buttplates, most for around $20, so while you may not get an exact replacement, any Marlin HR rifle BP from the era your rifle was made would be correct.
