Navy Arms '60 Army?
Who made them? There is one, in better than good condition sitting in a LGS for $200 obo. Thinking hard about putting an offer on it. Are they good quality? Always heard good things about Navy Arms marked guns in the past, but.......
Also, I could get a Lyman marked 1860 Army for the same price in like new condition, but it's in another state. Is the NA better quality? |

I have an old 1851 Navy from Navy Arms. It was made by Uberti.

Berdan..
I think the older Navy Arms stuff was made by ASP as was that Lyman Remington.
When ASP was building pistols they had about the top reputation. I have an 1860 from ASP in polished steel. It is very good quality. Both of those pistols would be highly desirable IMO. Darned shame you can't make a package deal on the pair. Say... 325.00 for two pistols?

Navy Arms used Uberti. ASM and Pietta. The Lyman is ASP. I'd probably go with the Lyman.
