Need a Fair market value on 7mm
Sorry about the double post, but I really need some help. I posted an earlier thread trying to identify my father in laws Voere rifle.
http://thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=336646 It is a rare rifle and difficult to appraise. I would like to keep it in the family and pay him the top value for the rifle so there is no bad blood. Please post what you think it is worth so that i can give him the maximum "bid". I can buy a new 7mm for $700. I am looking for a "feel good" price to pay for this rifle. Voere is a specialty sporting version of the 98 mauser made by an Austrian company. Sold to Parker Ballard in 1972 The barrel is stamped Parker-Ballard, inc,. Wilmington. de VOERE KUFSTEIN AUSTRIA Cal. 7MM Rem Mag. LAUFSTAHL 3 MOD 2165 2x7 Redfield scope with weaver mounts Very low volume of fire, but scratches on the stock and filed off sights. |
