slugs for a rifled barrel out of a rifled choke?

I was just wondering what you guys experience is with this? I bought an extended rifled choke for my smoothbore barrel, and im looking for the best slug setup. A rifled barrel is not an option. Some of these premium slugs are pretty high and i dont want to waste my time and money if its no use. Can i get enough spin out of the choke to make the slug act like its supposed to, or should i stay away from slugs that state "meant to be used out of a rifled barrel"

Each barrel is a law unto itself, but chances are it's not going to give great accuracy.

What little I know about rifled choke tubes is that they offer some improvement over smoothbore tubes but don't expect it to shoot like a dedicated rifled slug gun. And yes, you should used saboted slugs.

I bought one for my 870. I used it along with a saddle scope mount. It worked fine and I killed a bunch of deer with it. With Winchester sabots and rifled slugs I would get 2-3" groups at 75 yds. I now have a fully rifled barrel that will shoot a little better and I dont have to fool with the saddle mount.
