I hunt by Wichita so I go out with NRA's cousins.

I own the land, I raise the game, so I make the rules and if I dont like them then I change them. That way I dont break them.

I would have to say after I'm up the tree my orange comes off but not on way down or on ground

Yard dog, That is legal in many locations of florida but I won't pull my orange! No way No How except on the occasion I go with my wheelchair buddy on a limited mobility hunt where the Eglin AFB boys put these guys and gals in there on SECTION and it is ALWAYS in a VERY CLOSED section to general hunting...
Only time I present orange is returning towards him after giving him a drive.

my moms house is in a suburban environment with plenty woods and deer around so i thought id make em swing a little closer to my backyard by putting a mineral block out. havent shot nething off of it yet but as soon as gun season is out i plan on sitting in a ground blind about 10 yrds from it, listen to my ipod, waiting for one of the tame does in the area to stop by for a lick!

i load mine unless i'm near a safety zone when i'm parked or heading to a spot. sometimes however rarely, i may only put 2 in the mag,leave the chamber empty. in case i run into something that has 4 legs, other than a deer. that may cause me harm. the muzzleloader gets loaded before i walk away from vehicle. i try to be in position before legal hunting time. but won't shoot until its time.

i bait my hook 2 minutes before 8 am on opening day of trout season. as long as the line isn't in the water i'm not fishing before i'm allowed to.

Hunting in MN, I never worried about shooting to early.

I would get out to my stand while it was still dark, climb up it, pull my unloaded rifle up to me with rope, and prepare myself and my equipment.

Fifteen minutes later, shivering with cold, I would lower my unloaded rifle down with a rope, climb out of the stand, and find the nearest brushpile to crash out in. After about an hour of sleeping in the freezing cold, I would head back to the truck for lunch and then nod off for a couple of hours.

When I woke up at about 1:30 in the afternoon I would start my hunt.

IMO, any shooting before noon is totally uncalled for.

Using these advanced hunting techniques guarantees me of getting the very best of what the lunch cooler has to offer.
