Ruger LCR Barrel _LINER_ removal?

The LCR 38 ( and 357 ) uses a stainless steel barrel liner that aparently threads into the aluminum frame ( steel on the 357 ). The muzzle end does not have any hex or pin spanner holes. Any thoughts as to what tool is used to install or remove the barrel?

I say aparently threads in / replaceable because:

When I enquired about purchasing a barrel from Ruger they said factory only due to a install torque requirement.

Someone on another board had their LCR in for warrenty work and the barrel liner was replaced.

I don't see a smooth pressed in ( heat shrunk ) barrel staying in place over time. Nor it being removable without damaging the frame coating.

The Ruger parts CAD drawing shows a smooth OD barrel but with extra lines that infer threads but does not show the actual threads.

Thanks

If I had to install a barrel liner with no visible wrenching features, I would use and expanding mandrel that engages the rifling in the barrel. A shrink fit between the aluminum shroud and stainless barrel liner could also be used to make sure the liner doesn't shoot loose.
