Since the time this thread was started, I've been through 4 CC guns; a S&W 442, S&W 49, Kel-Tec P11 and my current CCW, a Kel-Tec PF9.
I'm considering waxing my M49 to fight rust and carry it for a work gun, since I can load with shot for snakes. My work often takes me into overgrown areas.

I suppose most will think I'm nuts but I carry what my dad used as his off duty weapon years ago as a LEO.....a cut-off S&W 38SW Lemon Squeezer. Its small and easily concealable and pretty safe to carry in a pocket holster with 5 in the cylinder.

what do you carry concealed ?
I have a 3 gun rotation:
S&W 642 Kel-Tec PF-9 Kel-Tec P3AT Which one I carry depends on what I'm wearing, where I'm going and what the weather's like. |

Depending on what I'm wearing, and how long I will be out for, I either carry a Para Ordnance Warthog, or an XD9SC. But once I put a lasermax guide rod laser in my XD, I have a feeling the Para won't be coming out as much.

On my right hip I carry a SA XD40 compact,on the left side of the small of my back I carry a S&W 640-3 magnum and on my right ankle I have a Raven .25 auto. Aside from the guns I also carry a one hand openin' tactical boot knife and a razor edge gutting Buck knife on my belt. To top it all off I also carry a pair of brass knukkles and wear steel toed boots. Some might say its "overkill",I call it being prepared for almost any situation I might be confronted with. Yes it takes a bit of time to get all that gear together and put on,but I'd rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it.

S&W 638 with Hornady Critical Defense 38 special loads. Seems like a good defensive round without the additional recoil.

Taurus M85SSUL. I've carried many other guns over the years and eventually settled on this one. Plus a speed strip in my back pocket.

Generally, P-64 in 9mm Mak. If I am irresponsible enough to use up all my ammo plinking and don't have the time to go buy some more, I either go with a pocket .22 or if am not gonna be out long, then nothing at all.
