Comparative recoil of small 40/357 Sig by make/model

I've shot the glock 27 and found it a little heavy though tolerable.
The hk p2000sk 40 is much more tolerable, even fun to shoot.

I'm interested in the Walther pps in 40 as well as the Kahr mk40 (all steel). How do they compare to the glock and hk??

9mm is easier to shoot, but that isn't what you're asking is it. Shooting a G27 with 180 grain loads isn't bad at all but go down to 165 or 155 and it gets snappy and follow up shots are more difficult. Switching out to my 357 sig barrel and it's even more snappy with 125 grain loads but the recoil isn't necessary greater. During stress drills or drills with rapid follow up shots I get slide lock halfway through a mag because my grip shifts and I'll hit the slide lock with 125 grain 357 sig loads. Shooting 147 grain hornady out of the 357 barrel isn't as bad. Shooting 100 grain frangible isn't bad at all in the 357 sig. Comparing the 357 Sig and 40 S&W in an outdoor range is much different than an indoor range. The decibel level and muzzle blast of the 357 sig with wear you down on an indoor range and affect my shooting if I'm shoot more than 25 rds or so. Hope this helps.
