Mosin Nagant Bolt Swap Question
I have a nice Russian Mosin Nagant 91/30 with a standard bolt. And I have another beater Russian 91/30 with a bent sniper bolt. I would like to put the bent bolt into the nicer rifle. The nicer rifle has a hex receiver and the other does not. The question is - can I just swap bolt heads between the bolts to maintain headspace or is this totally non-doable?
Thanks |

Maybe yes, maybe no. You have to check the head space.

Seems like if you're using the original bolt head you shoud be ok but I'd still have the head space check just for my own peace of mind if nothing else. You could even order a Go and No Go gauge from Midway U.S.A. and check it yourself if you like.
