Help Identifying Shotgun
Can anyone help me remember the make of the shotgun my Grandma used to keep in the corner of her kitchen? It's been thirty plus years and I'd like to find one.
All I can remember was that it was a 410 O/U with exposed hammer. And the hammer was split in two - one half for the top barrel and the other half for the bottom barrel. It was a plain farmer gun. I need some help to steer me in the right direction. Thanks in advance, Rick |

Stevens 240 perhaps? Sounds like, anyway. See the article at
http://www.4-10.freeuk.com/mwsavage24.html for a bit of info mixed in with the stuff on the 24 series of O/U rifles/shotguns. Stay safe, lpl/nc |

Lee - Thanks for the lead. I think it may be the 240.
Thanks, Rick |
