You are a true pioneer.

I don't think this could be much more oddball and it's been a riot watching this unfold for what seems to be a long time. It's an obvious labor of love.

I'd like to think all of the regulars here will be able to say we knew this crazy guy back before he even started this revolutionary project!

The pistol I was refering to was a late 19th century design using standard brass cartridges of the day. Its been many years since I ran across photos and description of this experimental pistol so I can't remember who made it.

That design shared only a little with your design, and is so little known yours is pretty much unique.
I did run across a recent patent for semi auto conversion for single action revolver several years ago, but it had no ejection or magazine features.
That design used a gas tube and piston with rod running through a hollow cylinder pin to cock the hammer. Not sure what he used as a disconnect.

I think you need to reshoot your video because there are just a few seconds where you're explaining the layout of the gun where your hand ISN'T blocking the view of the gun totally. I'm sure with a few angle changes you can achieve complete coverage.

Yes, I know that video stinks

. Problem is, the range "officially" doesn't allow photography so I had to prop my cellphone down low on the bench

. Which means looking up, the lighting and angles were all messed up.

Unfortunately I'm in the middle of a huge move but...I'll see what I can do.
