need some help please

ok so what im wanting to do is redo my shotgun.....it has been painted and i would like to get all the paint off....i am going to put camo front and rear stocks on it.....it was originally all black it is a Winchester 1300 Black widow so it was all black stocks and all.....i had it painted and it lasted a while...started to wear off and i tried to paint it...that turned out like crap so im gonna go back to black...any of you all know how to get the paint off of it? thought about using some of the aircraft stripper paint remover but not sure if it will harm it in any way or will it take it down to bear metal? or what? anyone know?

Without knowing what the paint on it now is, it's not possible to say for certain?

Try using your stripper or whatever in a small area that is not easily visible.

Try brake fluid . I know it takes off paint that you want left on ! Might work the other way !

aircraft grade remover. Get it from pep boy, auto zone, etc..
