444 Bullet Search

I'm looking for 280-305 bonded core, or (?) .429" bullets to load into my 444 Marlin. Lead is not an option as I have a micro-groove barrel. Anyone know where I can buy these monsters?

Lead can work fine in microgroove barrels.

I know there are jacketed heavy bullets for the .444, but I don't buy jacketed bullets in that caliber. Look at the .430s as well. That may be why you are having trouble finding them.

I've used both Hornady 300gr XTP and Seirra 300gr sportsmasters with good results in my Marlin and Contender. Speer also makes a 300gr SP but I've never tried it. Midaway has them all for around $10/50.
That's the biggest problem with the triple four. The bullet makers have forgotten it exsists. I'd love to see a good 300 gr spitzer for my contender, but I ain't holding my breath.
