To the Ruger SR-22 Owners:
Have you had any problem with the Take Down lever breaking/wearing out?

Thee are all kinds of YouTube videos on the subject.

Where might I find the standard 22/45 in stock? Preferably the black with the brown grips.
For all of you who are looking for a Ruger, but can't seem to find one, go looking for a used one. Around here they turn up all the time, and they're generally a fair bit lower priced than a new one.

For example I bought just last week, a blue MK III, with a 5.5" bull barrel, in the box, with all the extra's and papers for less than $300.00 from a local dealer.

At our house we have 2 MKIII Hunters, an SR22 and a Sig 1911-22. They all work well and seem to shoot any kind of ammo. The Mk III Hunter is the most accurate, but the SR22 is a lot of fun to shoot and is relatively accurate. I have not shot the Sig too much, as it's my wife's gun, she likes it a lot, does well with it, but has not used it quite as much since she got a MK III also.

In my opinion, you can't go wrong with any of them.
