The Colt .357 Magnum Model was produced from 1953-1961 with about 15,000 being manufactured until it became a part of the Trooper line in 1962. The .357 Magnum Model was offered with a heavy 4" or 6" barrel, checkered walnut grips, adjustable (Accro) rear sight. The standard finish was blued but there was an optional nickel finish offered. In excellent condition one could be worth about $400-$550. Slight premiums would be added for nickel finish or wide hammer. Hope this helps!
