Primers-some good news

The local Scheels store here has been getting in lots of primers in the last week. It was real hit and miss the last month or so but they had everything last Friday and still have everything but large rifle as that sold out. CCI and
Remington. They raised the limit to two bricks from one brick. $30.00 +tax
Store is in Grand Forks ND

I wish I would have read this earlier today. I was thinking about heading there for a while today and decided not to. Oh well, I'm not completely out.

They have a bunch of them left. Everything but the large rifle. I would guess they will be out by Tuesday or Wednesday. You can call and have them set them aside at customer service for you

That's great for a local price.

If I were to stop by 3-4 local places, at least one of them would have primers of some brand for each type.

I got a lot of email notices this week from Midway saying in stock for Federal and Remington.

I think Midway's got Federal's cause no one else wanted em. Those Federal primers are way to touchy for my taste. Crushed 1 on the press when I first started... It set off what was left. In the tray.

I managed to score a few at the Fargo Scheels last week. They're still at 1/2 brick max but they get stock Thursdays so I won't know what they get in until Friday. Hopefully the same deal goes down here.

I think I'm going to head to GF on Friday and see if I can score some cci br2's or some small pistol primers. Are all the Scheel's stores going with a 1/2 brick max, or just the Fargo one?

Our local Scheel's has Rem & Win primers in stock at $36.99 a brick, one brick per customer, they can keep them for that. These are pistol primers SP & LP.
Because, I just got may order from Widener's.

I work at a well known sporting goods store, and we got our shipment in today. For the first time in a few months we got .22LR in a good quantity. We also got some .45 which has been off the shelf for some time, as well as 9mm. Hopefully this good news means things are looking up!
