Problem with my prime lever - Lee Classic Turret

Hi there,

just received my new Lee Classic Turret, and I'm experiencing this problem:

the LPS primer arm (the "L" shaped metal part) is not perfectly aligned with the two bumps on the base of the press; it is more on the left bump than centered. I read from the instructions booklet that this can be solved by rotating the end of the ram to align the arm. On my press, I tried, but I seem unable to rotate it. Seems to hard. What shall I exactly rotate ? I tried, but the ram seems absolutely unmoavable.

Thank-you for your help!

You need to put the ram up, loosen the collar for the index and turn the ram using the primer arm. Retighten and go. Or with ram up remove the toolhead from the index and turn the ram.Have fun....

You can't turn the ram because it is pinned to the toggle linkage; as long as it inserts primers ok I wouldn't worry about it. Mine does land inbetween the 2 bumps.

had the same issue, during the course of reloading, the top part of the ram would rotate and mis-align with the bumps. Unscrewed it and put on some lock tight, never had a problem since

Hey folks, you're great. It did need a wrench to do the work, but I actually turned the top of ram a bit and got it aligned.

Fantastic. Thanks for the help, guys.
