Also consider the fact that people carry so much crap on their belts that no one even thinks about what is under there. That is what I have summed. Kinda like when I used to be a pot smoker. I figured every cop in the world could see a 1/4 bag down my pants. Now that I am not concerned anymore I realize I could probably could have carried a pound!
Another thing about the 19. I do not like carrying extra mags and the 19 helps me not to have to (i know there are arguments for that too ). Some thing like a single stack 9 would force that. |

I carry a SA XDS .45 now, but I also have a Glock 19 I carry. I carry it OWB but you said it was not an option for you. Try changing your carry position as well, sometimes with a bigger gun, I carry them over my back right pocket.
In all honest the XDS and the Glock 19 are much easier than the 1911 I used to carry. Sometimes I still carry a 1911, but the XDS is much easier. |

It sounds to me like your holster is more of a problem than your gun.
