How About Your Best Shotgun Links??? Good Books??

I've been searching for good sites related to the clay sports. Any good links would be appreciated.

Secondly, any suggestions as to best books? I'm sure that this has been covered. I found a local bookstore that has many old shotgunning books.

Shotgun Reports is a great source of sporting info, one can spend lots of time mining there.

As for books....

The Orvis Guide to Upland shooting.I forget the author.

Shotgunner's Notebook-Gene Hill.

Shotgunning, the Art and the Science-Bob Brister.

And any of Steve Smith's books.

Brister's work is from the 70s, but still a great source.

Dave & Bud:

I specifically remember Brister's book. It was old as the hills, but for some reason it stuck in my mind. I'll take a printout of this thread down to the local gun-bookstore on Monday and see what else I can uncover.

Ah, found a picture of the cover..did see Brister's book, but this one is new.

I'm really shocked at how much there is to learn. Not only do you have fit, mount, stance, eye dominance, load, choke, game specific issues, but also all of the reloading and gun specific issues.

The second is largely devoted to wingshooting but the bbs does handle some clay questions from time to time.

The more I read about shotguns the more I come back to "The Shotgun Book" by Jack O'Connor.

Surprisingly, the Barnes and Noble chain has a fair amount of sporting titles in their inventory,Gary. Little on "Serious" shooting, and most of that is suspect and under the Martial Arts category....
