Texas Paterson Revolver

Does anyone own one of Dixie's Texas Paterson Revolvers? I am thinking about getting one and would appreciate any first hand info. about the revolver, both pro and con.
Thanks

Make sure to check if it is in stock first. Pietta makes batches of these, and they are sometimes hard to locate. I've heard good things about them, they are on of Pietta's higher end guns. There are quite a few additional parts to the action vs a later Colt. Extremely cool EARLY percussion revolvers, the first successful ones.

I have owned both Pietta and Uberti pistols, nice to look at but never shot.
Read this thread before you buy one. Nice to look at but that is about it.

You really need to ask?
Who needs a reason to buy another shootin' iron?
Especially one of historical significance, even if you never take it to the range.
Go for it.

It's a Pietta. I think they called it an Extra Deluxe.
