What powder for a Ruger Alaskan .454

I just bought a Ruger Alaskan in .454 and am going to start reloading. What powder have you had the best results with being it has such a short barrel? Thanks for your help

I don't have one, but I've run some numbers before in Quickload out of curiosity. The old standbys W296, H-110, and Lil'Gun will work but are really too slow.

Enforcer, 2400, and #7 all look good, followed by #9 and Power Pistol.
