REM 870 choke

Have a Rem 870 super mag, I normally use slugs for deer and I am thinking of useing buckshot (19 pellets in the 3.5" 00buck) 70 yard or closer shots. |?what choke? I don't have a range close by that will allow me to shoot pellets at a paper target or I would try it out myself.....

Modified choke works best for long range buffered hard buck shot. I keep an Imp cylinder in mine because buckshot IS NOT a long range proposition and it works better on slugs which have at least twice the effective range of ANY buckshot.

thanks, I am guessing due to the heavy cover I won't have any Quality shots further than fifty, more likely 40 or 30, (might as well hunt with the bow)...anyway thanks
