45 colt

I know the dia of the 45 colt is .452, still I wonder can .450 in paleted or .451 in fmj.... 230gain be loaded in 45 colt?
Any and all replys appreciated.

I wouldnt load .450 in anything. Where are you finding .450 plated? I load .451 jacketed in my 45 colt. Most modern guns have the same barrel diameter as 45 acp.

Got 500 of them. CMJ Cast 45acp 230gain rn size .451 made by Frontier
(metal processing (pty) LTD.
They say .451, but all the caliber can come up with is .450.

Are you sure your caliper is accurate? Cheap ones commonly arent. If it is, then they are undersized. They will be ok to load, just wouldnt expect stellar accuracy.

The caliber is digital. Cen-tech from Harbor Freight. I understand the
accuracy part.

should be fine for tame loads... anything warm to hot, will likely increase fouling...
