Kahr Mag Catch Installation
Kahr sent me a new mag catch for my P9, with no instructions. Can anyone give me some help on how to remove and install it?

If you take a flashlight and look inside the grip at the mag release you'll see a little "spring" (small metal rod) that goes into the mag release itself. Take something small (I use a dental pick) to move it to the other side of the mag release and out. You should be able to see how it comes out by looking at your new mag release. Once you get the spring out of the release the release will just slide out. It's kinda hard to explain for me but it's just like a Glock mag release.

That's for the help, I got it changed this morning.
I can see a difference in the new catches shape as compared to the old one. I hope thie solves the premature mag releases. I was very productive this morning. I took down my new 870P for the first time and cleaned it also. |
