I carry a H&K USP40 compact. Right now I'm using and Uncle Mike's holster that sits nicely inside my waist band at the small of my back. This holster works but I'm still looking for something better. Does anyone have a holster suggestion for me?

Depends on where you want to carry it, IWB, OWB, SOB, shoulder, or x-draw. No one maker makes the best of every design.

I'm looking to carry inside the waistband. I have tried high ride rigs under my shirt. I had no luck with a shoulder holster. The waistband seems to be the best option so far.

I have have a BladeTech IWB for my USP40 which would work nicely if I lost a few pounds. ;-)
For my Glock 27, I usually use either M/D Enterprises OWB ("BS-2") or a Walden ACR-2. Both are very high quality. Does someone know the URLs for both these? -z |

For IWB a YCS made for IWB only (YCI) is my choice. You can see the YCS at: www.customholsters.com

look at the Law Concealment gun pouches. i know they don't look as flashy as a custom or semi-custom boned holsters but they WORK. i bought a large and a small one intending to carry a S&W 4006 in the large pouch and the extra mags in the small pouch. i wore them for a day and threw them in the "reject box." then i was looking for a holster for a new gun i bought and wanted to carry right away. i am left handed so the store is usally not an option for me. i dug out the small Law pouch and started carrying the Ruger SP101 that day in a behind the point of the hip posistion. the beauty of this system is any gun can be carried in any posistion or tilt as long as it is on the waistband. to this day i have hundreds of dollars of custom leather (don't tell my wife LOL) and i still reach for my Law pouch to carry everything from my K40 to my SP101 to my Speed Six to my AMT backup. also it is the absolute fastest on and off your waistband bar none. i say waistband because you don't even need a belt if your pants are snug. for the price it is a system worth checking out.
