Rem 1100 reciever question
I've got the whole thing stripped down except for the "interceptor latch spring". Is there an easy way to remove ? The spring is staked in place and i dont want to break it. i need to get this apart so i can have the reciever refinished. Putting it back in shouldn't be a problem, i just dont want to break it comming out.

Brownell's sells a tool for that...part number 080-187-202
You use it to "spread out" the staking...works pretty well. Good luck. Jason |

Leave it in. I've reblued a dozen 1100s with the spring left in place. No trouble from any of them. jim
