http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FDc3CT9MDs
10mm PBR 180 gr Zero JHP fired from 4.5" EAA Witness through four layers of denim into calibrated gelatin. BB calibration: 594.4 fps, 3.75" Impact velocity: 1,243 fps Penetration: 16.4" Retained weight: 135.2 gr (core: 106.0 gr) Max expansion: 0.539" Min expansion: 0.480" As you can see, there was significant fragmentation. The pieces you see in the last pic were all recovered at the same point and weighed together for the retained weight measurement. The weight of the core alone is listed separately. The expansion figures are from the core alone. |
