Bizarre Oregon bill increases complexity of CHL testing
http://oregoncatalyst.com/22311-sen-...arder-chl.html
Excerpt: Sen. Floyd Prozanski (D-Eugene) has sponsored a strange bill to make it more difficult to obtain a concealed handgun license in Oregon. The bill, SB 796, had been expected to get a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing this coming Thursday or Friday in Salem1. --This is kind of a curveball from an Oregon Democrat. The bill reads more like a specialized handgun training license. The article goes on to state that this senator has supported protecting CHL privacy in the past. |

Its certainly oddball, but There's not much for an able-bodied person to object to for themselves... it does open up ADA type problems though. The first vet who lost an arm to an IED etc. is going to destroy that law.
