How many times can .270 Winchester brass be loaded?

I'm trying to decide how much brass to buy to get started loading for my .270

How many times, on average, can .270 brass be loaded before it should be discarded for safety and/or accuracy reasons?

Brass life for any cartridge can vary from as little as 3 loads to as many as 20 or so, depending on your methods, how well your dies match your chamber and if you anneal or not.

unless your loading at the edge of max or over. you will see a change in accuracy way before the case fails. Most often the case will split at the neck. this will not be unsafe. it will make the chamber dirty. do it enough and you would eventually like as not the chamber will get so dirty you will have difficulty chambering the cartridge. depending on the level of accuracy your at. usually the cases start to loose accuracy between 5-10 reloadings. If you anneal the necks you start over. you can do this several times until the neck gets so thin it will break when you size it.
