Colt Army Special in 32-20 WCF
I ran across one in my local gun shop, badly pitted, some rust spots, but an amazingly smooth action. Thinking of purchasing it, but have no idea of the value. He is asking $225. High, low, or about right? i know, I do not have a pic, but all I had was my cell phone. if I get it I will have a pic.

It would be about right or even a bit low if the gun were in good condition. As described, though, it is too high. Unless you really want an Army Special or have a deep burning desire for an old Colt in .32-20, I recommend passing it up.

Agreed, way too much for the condition you're describing.
Here's a REALLY pretty one (may be reblued) in .32-20 for about the same price. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=260854788 Hum. Just bid on that one, and the price is apparently more than I'm willing to pay as I've not cracked his reserve.

Thanks, my thoughts were that it was a bit high, but since I don't really need it, I'll pass it up.
