Buy a used ruger vacquero in my opinion. But, I have heard good things about it-rough finish and fit, but a decent shooter. No experience with it myself.

One can buy a used Ruger Blackhawk for about the same price as the Cabella's Millenium revolver.

Take it from a a guy that owns one and shoots it a lot and knows of 4 others owned by friends. They are fine guns. They are not jewelery, but I love the finish. Very durable.
I continue to be amazed at how accurate the thing is. I reload for it and natually with the low power rounds I make brass lasts very well and the cases just slide out of the chambers. Almost never have to use the ejector rod. If you try Clays you even get the smoke.....

Fine value. If they ever come out with a birds head grip model I'll be the first to get one.

OTOH
This (Millenium)is a gun designed for Cowboy-power loads if you want to to last. The Ruger will take alot more and you can get a Vaq. with cylinders for 45 Colt and 45ACP. The factory grips on the birds head Vaqueros seem kind of thick but that's just me.

Take care.
