45 ACP vs 45 Colt

I got some 200gr RNFP 45 COLT coming in. It was an accident. I wanted ACP. Is there a difference? Diameter is the same (.452).

They'll have a crimp groove unlike .45 ACP SWCs or RN bullets. I had some that I loaded anyway and I just taper crimped them like I always do. They worked fine in my Colt 1911 Series 70 and my Smith & Wesson 25-2.

No difference, the bullets will work fine in 45ACP. Just be mindful of the overall length, since the crimp groove can be misleading.
The max COL for 45ACP is 1.275", I load to 1.250 to avoid issues.
