What size A.R.M.S. #22 Lever Rings to use on my M1A Rifle...

I've decided to use the A.R.M.S. #18 scope mount on my M1A rifle. I was looking at the A.R.M.S. #22 Lever Rings and noticed they came in 3 sizes, Low, Medium and Long. Anyone have any advice on which size to get? I guess my first question is, do any of the sizes allow use of the stock sights? No biggie cause with the quick release levers I can take the scope off with no problem. I guess my next question is, if I go with the Low size, will my front sight be in my scope view??? I'm new to this, so would there be a benefit to a specific size? I wish I had somewhere to go and try them out before paying for them...right now I'm looking at the Low or Medium...again, unless someone has a good reason for the High. Appreciate any advice.
