I never experienced the 22 shortage. I have been able to buy as many as I always do though at times I had to make a choice if I wanted them due to price. I always found the local. I never found a need to hoard when I bought them.

Now for bullets, they are far more plentiful and cheaper than they have been over the past year. While I never had any issues getting my supply I had to wade through some pricing issues or find vendors that did have them in stock.

I think at the height of the so called supply problem I was paying $120 for 1,000 - 223 FMJ's and today I am paying just over $70 for 1,000. I was always able to find a steady supply of lead bullets for the 9mm, 40 and 45 and the prices have been constant.
