Mississippi Honors All - - - Min Age for Possession/Transport
Washington State Entry Updated.
Mississippi changed their law and beginning 7/1/12 they would honor all other states permit/licenses to carry. It took them until the week of Oct. 7-13 to finally post that they would honor all other states on their website. http://www.dps.state.ms.us/crime-inv...s-permits-faqs There were people inside the MS DPS fighting this change and until this week they were not stating that on their website. The NRA deserves all the credit for finally straightening them out and getting them to post the new law. www.Handgunlaw.us over the years has gotten many questions from those between 18 and 21 asking if they can possess and transport a firearm. Many states don’t issue permit/licenses to those under 21. I am in the process of gathering this info for every state. My research has conflicts with other groups who have put out similar types of information. Most others who put out this info just put the age and don’t give info/references or where this is located in state law. It will be sometime before I add this info to each states page and asking your assistance to check out your state below and give me feedback on what I have listed. If you believe I am incorrect in my research please drop me an email at [email protected] and let me know. Please give me references if at all possible. This will not answer all questions about this subject but this info will give people a starting place for their own research. This info will be added to the “RV/Car Carry Without a Permit/License” section on each states page at www.handgunlaw.us In some states that are very restrictive there will be more than just the age and Statute listed. I do hope the formatting of the below info is retained when I post this. Code:

Awesome work I can’t tell you how many times I have referred to your site for information.
