Need a 45 load for a glock 21

Ill be using ranier 230 grain RN and I would like a nice soft paper puncher. I would like a load using power pistol if possible.

My load is 5.6 grains of Winchester 231 [MAX LOAD] for my Rainier Hex HP in 23o grain. For me it is around 850 and has no excessive recoil. Start with 5.0 grains and wrok up to it.

What about starting at the minimum published load data for Power Pistol for that bullet size? Makes sense to me.

Try Clays.
3.6gr - 3.8 grs.
Real Soft.
Real Clean.
Real Accurate.

For soft shooting, clean, and accurate, you can't beat clays.
You can develop more power with power pistol, but it comes at a price.
Recoil.
Power pistol depends on barrel length for a complete burn.
Incomplete burn=less accuracy.
With clays, it burns faster, so you need less powder, (So it's cheaper to use.)
It's also more accurate, because you get a more complete burn.
Because most of it's burn cycle is while the bullet is in the barrel, it burns cleaner.
If you want a hot load, clays is not for you.
