In cheaper than dirt's catalog, they have this AR-15 knife for about $40.00, but no mention of it being "automatic" - but in the description there is something like "thumbstud makes one-handed opening easy".
Well, I have a knife that looks identical and is identified as a Colt AR-15 as well - it opens automatically upon pressing a "hidden" button on the side, in addition to the manual-opening option. I think I paid $75.00. So, is this the same knife, and the catalog just fails to mention this feature because of legality concerns??? |

It is not the same knife. The AR15 that CTD sells is a manual opener. Check out www.discountknives.com for better prices than CTD.
