Scope options

Ok, here's the deal. I've just put on layaway a H&R .223 Ultra Varminter. I will immediately be replacing the stock with the following:

(With Varmint Forend as pictured)

And adding the following recoil pad:

(Limbsaver 1" Recoil Pad)

What I am looking for is a relatively cheap scope, preferrably laddered for .223 Remington. I cannot see spending more than $200 on the scope itself. If what I am asking for is unreasonable, or impossible, just say so. I am considering going below the $100 radar on the scope, and considering:

You'll see in my signature line, I also own a cheapo Barka 22 scope, and also picked up a pair of variable zoom Barska Binocs as well a few weeks ago. Is it just me, or for the cost, are these pretty decent? I have very little experience with scopes, and am looking for suggestions.
