Bill,
I posted a similar question and here are the answers I got. I have not tried any of these products yet, but I did buy some corks from the Home Depot on a whim because I was there for something else. I wanted the rubber stoppers, but they did not have the smaller ones in stock. I have not tried to use the corks yet, so I do not know if they will stand up to cleaning solvent. http://www.thefiringline.com/forums/...ght=bore+plugs

For a .22 barrel, try one of those little plastic plugs from the top of a bic pen. Works great.

Sir;
Get a bronze bristle brush, some Kroil or Hoppes and scrub from the breech and let set a while. Then use more solvent and some JB bore cleaning paste. If that won't do it nothing will. Harry B. |

Guys,
I got some of the rubber stoppers from the place below for the very same reason, they have various sizes. The "Wipe Out" bore cleaner works great. http://www.widgetco.com/ |
