I have been using the Lee carbide die set in 45acp for my relaods. I am now finding that they are junk!!! I was at the range the other day, and found that 2 of my relaods were not sized properly. they would not chamber because of the diameter of the case. Does anyone point me in the right direction on a good set fo dies? I Appreciate it

I've used Lee dies and a few others too but for the etra money, Redding dies can't be beat. I would highly recommentd using Redding die sets.
If you're not completely sour on Lee for your .45acp, use their Factory Crimp Die. That will solve your sizing problems. |

Muzzletalk, there is nothing wrong with Lee dies. Check your bullet seating/crimping die. If you are loading lead bullets, the lube from them is accumulated inside this die, and you'll have improper bullet seating. I have the same problem. Just clean it, and it'll work just fine. Ark

A properly set Lee Factory Crimp die will solve your problems. Also make sure that your sizing die is set correctly so that it sizes as far as possible. I run all of my .45 and 9MM cartridges through a Factory Crimp Die. I used to have trouble with cast bullets especially until I started using the FC die. Jerry
