heres the scoop, i bought a used 870 .410. it has a full fixed barrel. would like to have it mod.
I'm going to open the can of worms here. I would like to shoot slugs outa this shotgun. would I be better to fork the cash and get the rem choke barrel or what should i do. thanks Eric |

If all you want to do is shoot slugs, then you don't need a rem choke. Just open-up the existing full choke barrel. Or, if more than slugs, have screw-in chokes put in the existing barrel. Either way, you don't need a new one.
