Looking for a thumbhole stock for an M1 Carbine
Hi! Just joined & the place looks great
I'm in the planning stages of a 'project' involving a newly acquired Universal made M1. I want to scope it and sporterize it to the extent of substituting a thumbhole stock for the military styled one. I'm having trouble finding a stock ...Anyone tried this conversion, or know of a stockmaker who does replacement stocks for these little rifles? TIA....CD

Crimper-D, you might try Boyd Bros. http://www.boydboys.com/ or Richards Microfit http://www.rifle-stocks.com/. George
