How is Bullseye with 9mm fmj?

Hi, loaders. I'm pretty new at this reloading game, but have made up some excellent .45 lswc loads with Bullseye powder. I would prefer to stick with one powder for both, if possible. Is BE a good powder for 9mm, or should I search for another one for both? My use is strictly for target competition, not combat, so I don't need a heavy "push".

I use BE in 380, 9, 30, 357, 40 and 45!!!! Get loads on-line or various manuals.

I'm with WilliamD: I use BE in 380, 9MM, .38, .357, .40 S&W, .45 and light loads in .44 Spl & Mag, plus 12 gage.

My favorite reload is 115 gr Zero brand JHP and 4.6 or so grains of Bullseye.

I sometimes put it on my 'taters I like it so much!!

It would be fine for both but it is dirty. I've been using Power Pistol for 9mm and 40 S&W and Clays for 45ACP.

Bullseye is fine for 9mm. I use 4.8gr to push 115gr FMJ which is a pleasant to shoot blasting load. A lot of people swear that Power Pistol is the powder of choice for 9mm though. Bullseye works well for me because it's cheap, and I am a cheap reloader

I just bought a pound of Bullseye for my .38 loads, and the Hornady manual's right, it is accurate. Not super clean, though. I gather PP is a clean powder?

People say Bullseye is dirty, but I don't see with 9mm loads. I did notice it to be a bit dirty when I loaded 45 acp. Part of that could be that I loaded lead for the 45, and only load FMJ and plated for my 9mm. My brother uses Power Pistol, it makes a nice big flame come out the end of the barrel.

Bullseye is great for 9mm. I am fairly new to reloading as well and I have loaded with Power Pistol, HS-6, Bullseye, Green Dot, AA#7. HS-6 and Bullseye are my favorite so far. Although Bullseye is cheaper to load with becasue you use less.
